Details: H&M trousers & sneaks ∙ (g) Alex and Ani necklace & ring

Wide leg trousers and some jewelry with personality – two of my favorite things to incorporate when striving for a comfortable yet appropriate outfit that can easily transition from day to night. All you have to do is add a pair of heels for an elevated, sleek look that instantly elongates. But who am I kidding, sneakers are my go-to and my guilty pleasure in every which way.

They say your metal should coordinate with your hair color…no I’m totally kidding but someone did once tell me that blondes go for silver and brunettes aim for the gold. That person was also a brunette so that should say enough.. Personally, I mix my metals and often choose silver for rings and gold for necklaces, leaving my earring choice to feel no metal bias. This time around, the uniqueness and spirituality of these Alex and Ani pieces forced me to step out of my comfort zone.

I love the meanings behind each A&A piece and as the superstitious human that I am, I determine the outcome of my days by the energy or luck my jewelry represents.
