Ever consider a color that you like, yet never could commit to wearing too often? That’s how I feel about red.
I absolutely love the color; it used to be my favorite when I was 8, but I haven’t looked back on it since for some unknown reason. The boldness of the color quite possibly became too aggressive for my adolescent taste. Now the times have changed, and my 22 year young self feels the need to embrace it and welcome it back into my wardrobe life.
Denim shorts – always a must; they go well with literally everything. When I’m running around on campus, I like to keep comfortable, so these shorts get the job done. Keeping the comfort with a graphic tee spices up the common tank routine. And now, the red. A bold cardigan that’s lightweight for outdoors and perfect for chilly AC classrooms is a perfect addition to a late summer outfit. The red happens to match the small amounts of it on my shirt as well. Add comfortable sandals to complete the look & you’re ready for a bold new day.
