HAPPY NEW YEAR’S EVE EVERYONE!

Can you believe it’s already December 31st? 2018 FLEW by & in all the right ways this year. I have to admit this year has been one of the best I’ve had since 2015; the years of 2016 & 2017 were not my favorites.

2018 was a year of watching amazing things happen. I got to witness a lot of magical moments in my best friends’ lives, as well as experience a few of my own. I shared my favorite highlights, month by month, in my IG Stories if anyone’s curious to see a mini year in review.

Personally, I’m not the biggest fan of New Year’s Eve celebrations because all the hype to have an “epic evening” gives me anxiety. I’ve already done the club scene, the house-turned-club party, & most other events that lead to watching the sunrise on New Year’s Day. Needless to say, I’m very low-key these days & would prefer to celebrate in smaller gatherings with zero sequins & sans-makeup.

But whether I’m celebrating at home or going to a friend’s place, I’ll always make sure to raise the bar by providing a beautiful bottle for everyone to enjoy. Over the last two New Year’s Eves, I found myself eager to start the next one because I was emotionally drained from the last 12 months. I always wanted the next year to start because I figured it could be a fresh start to having a better year, one with happier moments to erase the one’s I’ve just had.

What I’m realizing more than ever now is that, although those years straight up sucked, they pioneered the path that would lead me to the year I just had – one I’m very thankful for. Just like every day you live & lead, not every year is going to be a good one. But ultimately, these days & years that challenge you are ones that have a stronger agenda behind them, which will help you learn to appreciate more, grow more, and love more at the end of the day.
