Something that trends season after season are strap sandals. Here I have shown three strapped yet different types to show the differentiation designers identify their pairs with in the pool of competition.
First up – the flat studded sandal by Steve Madden (shown above.)
This sandal lacks the piece of leather that slides between your big toe and the next one, yet proves to feel just as supportive and comfortable to walk the streets of NYC in. The varying sizes of gold studs coat each lightly tanned leather strap, giving it an overall glitz appearance that still shows edge.
Next, we have the gold chain flat sandal by Matiko.
This shoe is one of my absolute favorites, found in a tiny boutique in Soho called Olive & Bette’s. The detailing of the gold chains that loosely hang off the straps across and parallel with the structure of the sandal and foot. It displays an elegance that works for casual yet dressy daytime look or for a night out without the heel drama.
Last but not least, the classic brown leather strap sandal by Steve Madden.
This design is ideal for keeping the soles traditional, yet adding some flare with the three-strap concept below the ankle. Pair them with shorts, skirts, dresses, or pants – regardless of the outfit choice, this sandal looks great with anything you choose to wear.
