I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m actually happy I won’t be driving a car down to the beach every weekend this summer…for many reasons, in fact. Let’s start with the obvious: how AWESOME looking is this bike?

Believe me, these looks are far from deceiving – a cruiser with gears that rides super smooth is my ticket to avoiding all traffic back-ups and making it down to the beach with tremendous ease; oh and not to mention a great form of exercise at the same time, even in a dress.

Confession: this outfit is 100% styled around the bike and I’m proud to admit it. A year ago, this brightly printed dress would’ve sent me the other direction in protest but the new and risk-taking 2016 version of myself is making edgy-floral work in my favor.

The trick is to wear darker colors along with it to keep the feminine scale on the lower end; hence these black studded leather gladiator sandals and gold-mirror frames.
