Sequins can be intimidating and daring to wear, especially if you have no idea how to dress it down for a more relaxed occasion (aka not New Year’s Eve). However you can easily make these shimmery pieces very wearable with a monochromatic approach, focusing on solids that match in color scheme and tone down the overall look.

In this case, I paired a blush crop top with this high-waisted blush sequin skirt which completely relaxes the nature of this statement-seeking mini. I did get creative with a pop of color in a clutch but stuck to neutrality with a white heel. I’d even wear this look with white sneakers if I was looking to be more comfortable  and give off a skater-girl vibe rather than a structured demeanor.
