It all started 2 months ago when Thomas ripped an unrepairable hole in his beloved 3-year-old pair of Lucky Jeans..
Actually, let’s rewind a few months BEFORE Quarantine – around January probably – when Thomas realized he needed a pair of work pants that weren’t his Lucky Jeans (pre-rip.) Now I can say confidentially that when it comes to clothing, Thomas is verrry particular with his brands. I’ve learned over the last 2.5 years that it’s not worth getting him anything outside his approved list of clothing brands because he simply won’t wear it it; He knows what he likes and if it can still be worn, he’ll wear it until the very end – literally. So you can imagine my excitement when I learned he not needed, but WANTED a new pair of pants for work AND was interested in checking out a local men’s boutique in Hoboken – Oran Apparel

Our first experience with Oran Apparel became one we (yes, both of us) would never forget. The fact Thomas not only wanted to try out a new (to him) store for apparel, but also ended up getting a great pair of chinos – which he’s worn practically every day from purchase through Quarantine – blows my mind. Who would’ve thought the man who’s stuck in his clothing ways would be open to finding exactly what he’s been looking for right around the corner from our apartment!?
So if we fast-forward from then to 2 months ago when the unrepairable hole emerged, the first place he thought of for a new pair of jeans was Oran Apparel. And sure enough, he found a great-fitting pair to replace his former-beloved ones in the same dark grey wash. He also picked up the softest black tee that I wish was mine – it’s seriously so so good.
One of the things Thomas acknowledged right away was the overall fit regarding both pairs of pants, as he finds those labeled as “skinnier fit” to rarely work / fit comfortably with his muscular leg build. Of course, the denim fit on the tighter side right away when he first tried them on; but after sizing up 1x from his normal & over time with more wear/wash, these jeans softened up and practically became a second skin on him, in all the right ways a pair of jeans could fit. As for the chinos, he couldn’t believe how great they fit from the start!

If you’re someone (or know of someone) in need of a new wardrobe for the summer season or in general, then you should absolutely check out Oran Apparel. If Thomas can break away from his trusted denim and find something new he genuinely enjoys wearing, then that should be all the convincing you need LOL.
