Sneak Attack

Sneakers are my favorite fashion-things ever. Not only because I can comfortably run around NYC in most of my pairs, but also because there’s so much potential for a brand to totally NAIL IT with a sneaker design, thus repositioning themselves in the eyes of the consumer.

So when Clarks released the Trigenic Flex sneaker – one of the colors being an “off-white snakeskin” style nonetheless – I was instantly drawn to the design and just as instantaneously more eager to discover the brand Clarks itself.

Comfort is without a doubt obvious when it comes to these kicks, but the chic-sporty nature of them has pairing with any pair of skinny jeans look as approachable as the signature Adidas/Nike + denim look. The “sneak attack” in releasing this new sneaker style has seriously gotten me to consider a brand I never associated with before, due to past experiences of not seeing a style of theirs that understood my personal style.

Well, safe to say my mind has been triggered to look beyond the predisposition of any brand if I see something as cool as these sneakers. So sneaky but oh so terrific, Clarks – well done. Shop similar below:
