Star Worn


Last weekend I traveled home to my stomping grounds of New Jersey, visiting the well-known area of Asbury Park for an impromptu photo sash. To think after all the years I’ve lived in the area I would’ve thought to photograph here my last three as a blogger. It’s practically a ghost town during the off-season – which is all the more reason to indulge in the photos now before the tourism crowd shows up mid-May.

Posing in this starry-eyed surprise of a find from Nordstrom Rack next to what was the infamous carousel reminds me of the sheer fact that, nothing lasts forever – neither sale prices nor carnival attractions. So when you see the print of your desires of a brand that makes you jump for joy, don’t second guess the moment and go for it. You never know when that magical sale item will disappear and you’ll be kicking yourself for months if you don’t take advantage of the situation. Shop similar below:
