Details: (gifted) Choies trousers | (vintage) Armani vest – similar | (DIY) neckerchief | Zara heels – similar
It’s not quite cold enough for infinity scarves but the bandana has made a new comeback this season already. Cue the neckerchief – a modernized version of scarf meets bandana. Angled to make an upside down triangle shape, these neckerchiefs are extremely easy to DIY – if you’re particular to the size and length like myself.
Invest in some cheapo scarves (i.e. ones that don’t cost more than $4) and cut a rectangle shape out of one of the corners of your laid-out scarf slightly larger than you think. Remember, you can always subtract but you can’t always add. All it takes is a little trial and error – hence, buy cheap or use old scarves to ensure you won’t be sad if you mess it up.
Outfit-wise, this look is very comfortable and slightly random but that’s the way I like it. I also never wear just a vest on top but in this vintage case, the buttons work towards my advantage. And once again, loose on the bottom = better fit on the top and a pair of heels to give the whole look an edgy-chic appearance. Shop similar below:
