Embracing new trends left & right this year, beginning with a brocade print and a baker boy hat. I really liked the concept of both & felt my wardrobe needed some sophistication and a touch of cosmopolitan vibes. This brocade skirt matches 95% of my wardrobe and I love how the print brings my two of my favorite neutrals – black & camel – together in a seamless way.
I wasn’t too sure how this baker boy hat would look on me but I was really hoping for something new to sport other than a beanie, which I’m starting to find a bit immature…uh oh. Does this mean I’m getting old(er)?
I’ve worn the baker boy hat for years, but I got rid of my last one a couple of years ago because I had so many people look at me like it was childish. I foolishly thought, “It’s too young for me.” And two years later it’s a trend, ha ha. Honestly, I love a good beanie, and I’ve worn them more as I’ve gotten older, though with a more sophisticated twist.
Love the brocade skirt. I love black and browns (or any neutral for that matter) too!
