Details: Topshop romper – similar | Forever 21 vest | Aldo boots

Rompers shouldn’t be classified as solely summer pieces because they offer much more versatility than many are willing to consider. A few weeks ago, I took a white, sleeveless romper and layered it with a cozy knit sweater on top. This week, I’m utilizing the long sleeves of this style for a more fall-inspired approach.

Since the sleeves offer comfort from the chill, a lighter layer of a boyfriend, longline vest on top works perfectly for this weather. A pair of ankle booties in the same color of the vest keeps the look uniformed. Despite the floral pattern, the fact that its base color is hunter-ish green makes this romper more fall appropriate (at least in my opinion.) Shop similar below:

 Over the weekend on Sunday night, I lost my grandpa to a sudden but peaceful heart attack. This picture was taken Sunday afternoon and though hours later we lost him, he looks nothing less than terrific. He’s been in my life for 23 years, never missing any life moment held special to me. He rode his motorcycle all over town until the day he died, wearing his oxygen tank on his back in a backpack while he drove. He was an AMAZING man, a true legend and although the loss of him is painful beyond measure, I’m so at peace knowing he’s no longer in pain and riding free amongst the clouds. Rest easy, Pop Pop.
