70’s inspired denim for a twenty-something state of mind is aways a good idea and like my obsession with destructed skinnies, this boyfriend jacket takes top awards in my book. With ripped detail on one sleeve alone, this piece is very unique to my eyes. It makes for a focal point on a casual outfit where the use of true blue denim can be overlooked.
When it comes to the fit if you ask me, boyfriend sized is always the comfier size to wear. Plus it makes for wearing more than one later underneath possible. And if you want to tie in where I got the title for this post from, the distressed sleeve represents the rough and tough of our twenties – the decade where nothing’s perfect but we’re making the best of what we got handed to us while making it (& playing it) cool. #MottoOfMyLife.
