Holy last week of August guys – can you believe next week it’ll be September!? The mornings have been crisper and the days are slowly starting to end earlier & earlier. Although I’ll miss being tan & feel like I didn’t take advantage of the beach as much as I wished, I’m somewhat looking forward to this next season of fall and all things that come with it: cozy knits, booties, plaid everything, etc.
But before fully transitioning to jeans, I want to bring these two amazing every day dresses to your attention for a few reasons: 1) They’re both from Amazon (aka affordable AF), 2) They’re both easy, simple looks for an every day occasion, and 3) They’re both perfect to wear now & into the fall season!
Bohemian Swing Dress | Raffia Bag | White Sneakers | Chain Anklet
…
What triggered this dress’s discovery was that overshared maxi bohemian dress that everyone & their mother probably owns right now. Not gonna lie, I still want that dress too but couldn’t justify its every day wear in a city setting right now, especially since we’re approaching fall.
So in an effort to find something similar in print that was shorter in length yet still forgiving in fabric, I came across this red bohemian floral print tunic swing dress. JACKPOT!
I’m loving its versatility so much too. I’ve sported it dressed up for my friend’s bday BBQ as well as a beach coverup option; I’ve worn it with a tassel tie belt to define my waist (or without it, as seen here), and rocking it with white sneakers/sandals now until replacing my summer footwear choices with booties.
Sizing: I’m 5’6″ with a long torso so I went with a medium to ensure I’d be happy with the length. I recommend sizing up one from your normal size if you have a long torso (like me) or a larger chest.
Babydoll Swing Dress | Gladiator Sandals (on sale!) | Layered Necklace | Hexagon Sunnies
…
This v-neck babydoll swing dress has been a fantastic find & addition to my wardrobe. I can’t wait to wear this with OTK boots & ankle booties when fall approaches. It’s also great for accessorizing layered necklaces with, along with felted wide brim hats (I’ve tried that look out in the mirror.) It comes in multiple colors & you can guarantee I’ve already bought it in two more – burgundy and army green.
BTW – if you’re afraid of wind catching underneath and putting you on full display when wearing a dress like these two, then be sure to wear a pair of biker shorts underneath! I swear it’ll be the most reassuring thing you could ever do for yourself (trust me from experience.)
Same sizing as the bohemian dress, I found a medium to fit me the most comfortably.
Hi Tildan
Both styles are great! I have not done alot of clothes shopping on Amazon, but maybe I need to check some out!
I LOVE that red dress on you, the flowy style and color is so vibrant and perfect with your skin tone.
The second dress style is lovely too, great with those cute sandals.

Love the post. I love Amazon, however you never know how the clothes will look until they arrive. When I get recommendations, that is definitely a plus!
Both options are so adorable! I love finding good deals 🙂
I love both of the style dresses you are wearing but my fave is the black one! It would be so cute with camel accents this fall! Thanks for sharing!
