Two summers ago, I had the privilege to spend 2 weeks in Italy with my family.  We traveled beyond Rome, Venice, and Florence to the rural countryside of Tuscany, where tourism was scarce and the landscape was to die for.

To compete with the heat, I put my J Crew fedora to the test, which proved to be not only stylish, but also functional in regards to keeping me cool.  Fedoras are my spring & summer besties when it comes to repelling the sun; as a brunette, the sun tends to make my head feel like it’s been lit on fire.  They work well with about every style worn, so I’ve seen. From tanks & shorts to dresses & skirts, a fedora is the perfect accessory to complete any casual look.
