Work calls for many runs around Manhattan, which means the outfit of choice must be prepared for any potential run-ins. Just like yesterday.

I was given the opportunity to make a quick run to drop off looks to Hanneli Mustaparta (Hanneli.com), the infamous fashion blogger & model extraordinaire. Thankfully, I was dressed comfortably in terms of quick movement & casual chic.

I wore a pair of mid-rise denim shorts, belted with silver & leather, topped with white chiffon, & completed with DIY studded sneaks & summer arm candy. When it gets a little chilly, add a neutral light-weight sweater.

White is my safety go-to color; it makes me feel tan & confident. Shorts add comfort in the humid heat & tidy when tops are tucked into them. Add a metallic belt to tie the look together, pick out the most vibrant pieces of metal for your wrist, & add grunge with some awesome kicks (check out how to make these DIY babes) to give what looks neutral more of a visual appeal.
