This is the first year I’ll be attending more than one engagement party, bridal shower, & wedding in the upcoming months ahead. Hands-down these are the most exciting occasions for me to dress up for, probably because it’s still new for me personally. Needless to say, I hope my enthusiasm stays high & relevant for any of you looking for outfit inspiration for these occasions as well!
One of my best friends in the entire world is having her engagement party in two weeks (mid-May.) We’ve been hoping for warmer temps and have been graced with a few incredible weekends (weather-wise), but it’s safe to assume the party might not fall on one of those days – realistically speaking.
So instead of a dress I might be freezing in, I’m opting for a floral culotte jumpsuit with the most important feature – pockets! I love how the black & white print is bold and doesn’t cave into the “groundbreaking floral colors” one would associate this season with. Paired with a simple pair of black ankle strap heels – a must-have wardrobe staple if you ask me – this sophisticated ensemble looks the part while remaining incredibly comfortable to wear.

I love to defy the expectations for this kind of events, people usually expect a pretty feminine dress but I love to wear different things and I’m planning on wearing jumpsuits for literally every event this year and I really needed some inspiration so thank you for sharing!
