This might be the first pair of white jeans I’ve worn this season, despite my complete disregard for that “No White before Memorial Day Rule.” I’ll wear white all year round, as it’s my safety color.

But I find it interesting that it took me until the end of April to debut a pearly pair. Guess that quest for color has really taken advantage of my outfit decisions!

When red stripes and brown leather are paired together, they can appear more fall-inspired if you want to put a label on it. That’s why I went for a lighter pair of pants along with a signature spring staple – the espadrille. In denim & lace-up nonetheless.

I didn’t envision this look to work that well, and I’m very pleased with the result of this outfit experiment. What do you think!?
