I’ll be frank – some prints make me feel insecure. What I mean is that I don’t see myself being able to pull off some of the bolder, brighter prints that I admire on other fashionista/o’s.
Coming from someone who JUST got used to wearing more color, baby steps are of the utmost importance to maintain my confidence.
So if you’re like me and dipping your toes into the baby pool of color & print, there’s a way you can “prime” yourself for the style experience. I’m drawn to subtle, tiny print pieces in muted or neutral colors.
Why? Because those are introductory pieces that lead me to prints not yet explored, while staying relevant to the colors I’m already comfortable wearing.
Just some food/style for thought if you’re needing some encouragement to try new things this spring/summer. I’m right there with ya!
