Playing with shades of grey today – but not as many as 50. Instead I coordinated an entire monochromatic-ish vibe by focusing on this single pair of slate denim skinnies. A color this soft doesn’t come around often and anything with knee slits catches my attention, so it’s safe to say the decision to make this look revolve around them wasn’t a difficult one to make.

The use of color is slight in terms of quantity but the impact made is clearly indicated. By coordinating accessories with the graffiti art color scheme of this light trench, the look is definitely stepped up from a canvas of neutrals. However, it’s the closeness of both top and bottom base tones that keeps the monochromatic vibe in check and rather approachable to put to good use if you’re looking to step up your neutral game.

Ultimately it’s the slate denim that has me feeling as cozy as this look appears – yes even in high white pumps. As someone who leans more towards particular styles of denim that fit my body, it helps to know the pair I’m purchasing – especially online – will make me feel as good as they look on. Bluefaith’s assortment of soft-fitting denim is officially available online due to the launch of its new site! This is the GO-TO BRAND if you’re ultra picky about your jeans and looking for styles new to the eye for Spring. Shop similar below:
