I’m that stereotypical “girl-on-the-go” – One day a week and most weekends you can find me running all over the island of Manhattan on a mission of sorts – a collection preview here or an event or three there. It’s safe to say I need to rely on a bag that holds everything I need for a day spent out of my apartment for hours at a time AND one that looks the part when accompanying the outfit I choose to wear. Up until now, I don’t know why the thought of a convertible bag didn’t come to mind – it’s legitimately a life saver.

Double teaming as a backpack and shoulder bag, this fringe number incorporates everything in style for this year’s spring as well as poses to be the bag YOU NEED for city adventures. I’m not a fan of backpacks in NYC – yes, people still pick pocket – but with a tight drawstring tie and button snap enclosing the top, you’ll definitely feel the tug of someone trying to get at your goods if the unfortunate event were to happen and be able to (hopefully) prevent it.

Nonetheless, you can hold it as a handbag by unsnapping the two pieces connected for two-strap shoulder use. But when it comes to having hands free while shopping or walking down the street, there’s nothing more relieving than a backpack to lift the weight of your world to a more manageable location.
