Anyone else have a wild weekend? One that has you posting on a Tuesday because you’re so backed up with work post-vacation? [Insert raising hand girl emoji] plus a couple palm trees, tropical beverages, confetti, sunshine and of course, a watch and you have my Miami Swim Week described in emojis.

KYBOE! treated me and several other bloggers to a weekend trip down to Miami to attend two-days full of activity promoting my newest watch brand obsession. I had a blast and that’s putting it politely. Following the weekend recap, I’m sharing one of my weekend looks that I wore to a couple swim previews this past Saturday.

Asos romper & choker necklaces | Chloe sandals | Dolce Vita Handbags backpack – similar

Miami definitely got me experimenting in the color game and utilizing all colors neon and bright this past weekend. When I saw this romper on ASOS I knew it would be a perfect addition to my pre-planned wardrobe, as well as a terrific beach coverup. Since the temps were 90+ degrees F it was essential to wear something lightweight in fabric that quickly dried and allowed plenty of movement, and this romper definitely served such a purpose to achieve comfort in extreme conditions.

Silly me didn’t have a beach tote [that I didn’t take home to New Jersey] when packing so I had to strategize a bag that I could take to the beach and hold my camera in safely. I figured a fringe backpack was a unique approach and very satisfied with the result, especially when combined with the bright colors lining the romper’s upper half. To make this look appear more like an event outfit rather than a beach look, the addition of layered choker necklaces and a belt coordinating with the already loud color scheme completed a very Miami ensemble.
