Good morning from LAX! Before I hop on the plane — lol Miley reference — I want to share my first look from this past amazing weekend!

Quick recap — my blogger bestie Julia of Trends & Tomfoolery and myself jetted off to the west coast this past weekend to attend LuckyFabb hosted by Lucky Magazine. This was the perfect opportunity to get away for a mini vacation, meet new blogger friends and finally make it to California ( checking off the bucket list.) The two-day event was held at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills.

After arriving Thursday, we were invited to attend a pre-Fabb cocktail event at a chic Beverly Hills location called Duplex on Third — hosted by Lucky Magazine & Sexy Hair. Let me tell you, I’ve never had a tastier cocktail in my life; twisted pink lemonade bliss. Both Julia and I met some really great people that we continued to hangout with for the rest of the weekend. I wore this ensemble (above) with the focus of keeping it neutral with only a hint of color. Plus, I really wanted to wear this faux fur vest — it’s so cuddly and perfect for sipping cocktails in.

Naturally, time flew by and it was time to get going to the next invite. Thanks to UberLA, we hitched a free ride over to the W Hotel in Westwood to attend an exclusive Southern Blog Society x FashionablyLush event — hosted by Megan of Lush to Blush & Lauren of Fashionably Lo. Sitting around an intimate outdoor coffee table & warmed by the luxurious heaters, we shared our blog stories and connected on all things we’re passionate about. I can’t even begin to describe how fortunate I feel to have been able to meet such extraordinary bloggers. The inspiration from this evening alone gets me jittery.
