Tank tops & denim shorts – the warm weather outfit of choice.

Seen as we’ve skipped the Spring season entirely, it’s only mandatory for my sanity that I dress as appropriate for the 80 degrees as possible.  The way to differentiate the very familiar and copied look of a tank and denim shorts is  by pattern & color incorporation.

For instance, I’ve paired a neutral, yet textured tank with a light wash denim short and tied a brown/metallic silver belt for the overall look.  Although the colors are basic, the open-weaved trim on the bottom & racer back straps of the tank makes the ordinary into something more interesting.
