Despite what it looks like, getting to the gym isn’t a piece of cake for me each day. The struggle starts with every early morning, just trying to get out of bed. Even during the workout class I’m questioning why I’m putting myself through this torture!

But once it’s all over, I’m overwhelmed with endorphins and literally feel like a new person, a better version of who I was when I woke up. This feeling is one of the strongest motivators for me to keep myself dedicated to my workout routine. That, and cute workout clothes.

Because of my routine, my expectations for workout wear need to accommodate what is asked of my body. I need leggings that are high-waisted and STAY up there, not asking for any adjustments in-between box jumps. The amount I sweat requires fabric that doesn’t show how drenched I am, nor it cannot be itchy as a result of sweaty skin. If I’m uncomfortable or bothered by the clothing I’m working out in, then you can guarantee it’ll deter my motivation and distract from the reason I’m putting myself in the position to kick my own ass.

As an influencer, I’ve gotten to work with a broad range of amazing activewear brands. Some I’ve known about, others completely new to me. Not only do these brands have the cutest activewear, but they’ve satisfied me with styles that accommodate my specific workout needs above.

I know this looks like a dedicated workout set, but it’s actually two different brands that suit me for two purposes. I have this ALALA sports bra in both white & black and probably reach for it 95% of the time. It offers max coverage and super breathable with the mesh detail.

These leggings are from Aerie & I’m already adding more styles of them to my cart as I type. I’m seriously so obsessed with the fit. And yes, they passed the no-slip, high-waist test.

If you haven’t heard about Bandier, then you’ve been living under a rock. This activewear retailer practically runs NYC, offering a multitude of luxury fitness clothing with exclusive brands.

This bra & legging set is from All Access and I’ve never loved a fabric more like this. I can’t even begin to explain it properly – think working out in something that’s buttery-soft to the touch and almost 100% seamless.

BloqUV is a relatively new brand to me, but I’ve been very satisfied with the pieces I’ve worn & worked out in thus far. I sometimes focus too much on the legging (naturally) that I realize I don’t have many tops outside of sports bras that I enjoy wearing.

I found a few long sleeves and 1/4 zips on BloqUV that I absolutely adore. Not to mention, this brand has pure white pieces that I can actually wear to the tennis club this summer (I go to a club with old school rules – tennis whites only!)
