I love when a stereotypical trend continues into a new season, and this year it’s all about the lace for Fall. Normally considered a style for the summer, this transition into a cooler season means lengthening the lace to a midi and/or changing the color scheme to a darker palette. From frosty white to the deep rust reds and cooler navy & blacks – lace has made a statement that’s here to stay for a few months longer.

South Moon Under’s Fall Dress Collection has me swooning over the laced midi scene, especially with the concept of this body-con beauty seen sported above. Normally anything this tight makes me feel constricted and well, uncomfortable to wear for a period of time. However I couldn’t be more delighted to get a stretchy fabric piece with very generous slit in the back for easy movement, not to mention a deep drop back cut to assist making this quite breathable of a style.
