I absolutely love that overalls are a thing these days. They were great as a kid & still remain as a wonderful outfit option for my 27-year-old self. Built for comfort as well as for speed, both then & now!

I’ve been styling overalls casually on my blog for a few years now (see here & a super old post here) but I’ve never referenced how to style them for a dressier occasion. If there’s any piece of clothing that can serve a day-to-night purpose, it’s a pair of overalls.

All it takes is the partnership of a structured top & an elevated choice of footwear. In this case, I went with a tailored sweater and opted for a kitten heel slingback. As it gets warmer, I’ll swap the sweater for this blouse instead – looks super cute & will def share as another outfit soon!

Now I know several of you fear the overall, whether it be the concerns of thinking its only appropriate for a certain age range or designed to fit a certain body shape/height better than others. NOT TRUE AT ALL!

Just like a standard a pair of jeans, overalls are all-inclusive – that’s the beauty behind them. With multiple fits like skinny to wide-leg & an assortment of fabrics from denim to linen, there’s a pair of overalls meant for everyone & every body.
