If Valentine’s Day is something you intend to REALLY dress up for, then look no further than opting for a maxi metallic romper number. Not only is it super flattering and elegant, but it’s definitely a piece that is less likely to be copied during the month of February in NYC. I know, you’re probably wondering why I’m suggesting something like this to be worn during the dead of winter but hear me out…
Truthfully, this isn’t just something you’d wear for an evening out with your special someone. As the weather warms up and you find yourself invited to more formal occasions, this metallic maxi romper will suit you well as an outfit of choice. I’d definitely find myself wearing this as a guest to a wedding or a cocktail event for sure.
Granted it was a RARE 58 degree day when this outfit was photographed, but I’d easily wear a pair of sheer tights if necessary. Adding a leather jacket makes this look appear more edgy and slightly brings it down to Earth, in case you aren’t the super feminine type like myself. I definitely felt more comfortable with wearing leather than a faux fur something, but you could totally opt for that style of outerwear if you’d rather!
Gorgeous outfit! Super original and so pretty. I love the edginess while still being dressy.
Love the pop of fur on your jacket!
