It’s crazy to think I’ve been blogging for over three years already. Going back in time to prepare for this post has me realizing how far I’ve come from where I began – iPhone pictures outside my college apartment building to digital SLR shots taken in scoped out, prime locations. The quality and effort I put into my blog is visibly shown through images and the content each outfit post holds but I see the quality and work in the hours I spent behind the scenes. The infamous late nights or all-nighters to get everything done – safe to say nothing has changed. I swapped homework for two full-time jobs and like my passion then, it still remains to last as determined as it was when I published my first post in 2013.
This 12-Month Calendar lookbook consists of (2) shots per month of my favorite look from 2014 and 2015. Although digging through the archives to find some of these images was an intense struggle, I’m happy to be able to compare the two years side by side, per month for not only reader view but also as a timeline for myself. I remember some of these days specifically, which ones where amazing and which ones posed life changes both good and depressing. It’s incredible what the mind can remember by simply a glance of an image.
Social Print Studio can make digital lookbooks, such as this one I drafted myself, into printed photo books of your favorite styles throughout a given time frame. The idea of being able to look back and see how far my blog has come makes me feel all the more determined to keep it up when reminded by a tangible medium. From large-scale phonebooks to miniature-sized ones, there’s a lookbook turned photobook for everyone!
