Gingham Romper

Don’t be fooled, it’s a romper in disguise. In all honesty I was not looking for this print in playsuit form. When the dress I thought I originally wanted was sold out in my size (typical) I searched for the next best thing in the same print. First off, buying strapless pieces – without trying it on prior to purchase – terrifies me because you never really know how it will fit based on the material. Lucky for me & everyone else, ASOS ships & returns free and once again, my normal size was accurate. I’ve literally never ordered something from ASOS in my size that didn’t fit – which is probably why I can’t stop shopping online from them..

This wide gingham print reminds me of a grayscale picnic blanket. It pairs exceptionally well with chambray and denim, which leaves me with plenty of options in terms of vests, button-ups and jackets to choose from depending on the weather. Although I was apprehensive about it, the print sold me and I didn’t want to lose my opportunity to make use of it; I hate when they just disappear from the site – I’m still bitter about the Delias heart tank I never committed to get in 10th grade.
