Every other morning of each week, you’ll find me either hitting up the gym in my building to focus on BBG or taking one of my go-to HIT workout classes to get my ass kicked. I’ve been finding the mix of at my own pace with 45-minute non-stop motivation via trainer has been the best routine when it comes to maintaining my physique for the ever-dreaded bikini season.
Except this time, I feel more than prepared! However it’s not just my workout routines themselves that are getting me in the best shape I’ve ever been in my 20’s. It also has a lot to do with what I’m putting into my body before, during, and after each workout endured that’s keeping me in check.
Eating healthy these days isn’t the easiest thing to stick to, especially if your life is constantly on-the-go & somewhat spontaneous such as mine. Every day lands me with a different schedule so I can’t always guarantee I’ll have the healthiest options available to me when it comes to my meals, especially on gym days. Sometimes I might not have time to eat much at all, which can be dangerous if I don’t take advantage of filling up on something satisfying before heading out the door.
