Hell clearly froze over (no pun intended) when I say that the “city that never sleeps” actually took a nap last night. The #Blizzardof2015 that NYC woke up to this morning had all cars off the roads by 11pm, the subway system temporarily shut down and forced an eerie silence all night long. Never did I ever think I’d miss the white noise of traffic to help put me to sleep…
Needless to say, this look was taken on a warmer day leading up to the storm. By sporting a bare ankle in the dead of winter, I can’t help but get excited to wear less layers in two-ish months. Speaking of layers, it’s time I come clean.. This sweater is actually an illusion – the bottom tier of this piece has a built-in fabric made to look like a shirt underneath. How clever, right!?
