It’s officially baseball season and dressing the part, at least for me, comes into focus this time of year. I try to challenge myself to wear something that can go from the office to the game because frankly, that’s how most of my baseball-game endeavors begin. The trick is to wear something feminine enough for work but casual enough for a game where you’ll be surrounded by a sea of denim and tees.

Also keep in mind this is just a suggestion for the human that wants to take the least amount of clothing to change into, to the office possible – or the human that feels like dressing up for a game. There’s nothing wrong with that, trust me..I went to school in South Carolina and dressing for ‘game day” was an event.

When it comes to representing your home team, think of investing in a piece with a similar color scheme that comes in a structure more office-friendly. I find a sleeveless shirt dress fits the bill in this situation. Paired with heels at work and swapped for sneakers post-office hours, you can literally skip merrily to the game and remain as comfortable as can be, weather permitting.

Because I have a cooler evening in mind, a denim jacket with knit detail is a lighter option of outerwear that naturally goes with anything and keeps it [your look] cool, casually speaking. Shop similar below:
