Okay maybe it’s more “crochet” than lace but I have to be honest, I found this piece to be so pointless in my closet until yesterday afternoon. Here’s why:

During my 22nd birthday dinner last year — which is depressing enough after the grand slam of 21 — I received this intricate disaster which looked as if it were homemade. Not that I expected much more of it — it does serve its purpose — but let’s just say I wasn’t expecting such a delicate gift with the $10 price tag still attached..

It wasn’t until yesterday’s closet clean-out that a mental lightbulb went off and directed me to the brightness that was this outfit idea. What was once a bare and hopeless situation is now, well just bare. I mean I felt naked underneath wearing only a mini skirt and bralette but trust me, I loved every minute of it and you will too.
