Turning 30 in 6 Days…

It’s crazy to think I’ll be leaving my Twenties behind next Monday (6.28!) but in all honesty, I’m totally ready to step into this new decade. If there’s anything the movie ’13 Going On 30′ taught me, it’s that your Thirties are meant to be enjoyed to the fullest – remain flirty in your years (because 30 is still so young & age is truly just a number) & remember that the idea of ‘thriving’ doesn’t necessarily go by the textbook of what it should look like on the outside. This new year of 30 is going to bring so many wonderful things to my life, starting with my marriage to Thomas this fall. 29 was oh so fine but I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years have in store for me.

On another note, we’ll be celebrating our Engagement Party this Saturday! I’ll be sure to update with details following the event as best I can, but I also can’t believe the time is almost here for this as well. We’ve been planning this day since the beginning of 2021, personally opting to call it an ‘Engagement Party’ (not a ‘Co-ed Shower’) so it’s more of a casual, celebratory setting we can enjoy with friends & family. I’m also not planning to have a Bridal Shower, so this will stand in place of such & also allows for more flexibility with invitees/details that’ll amuse both my & Thomas’s personalities. After all, it’s OUR wedding & T should be celebrated the same as myself as a bride would be at a Shower :]

In terms of what I’ll be wearing this Saturday >> I scored an incredible dress from the Shopbop sale last week (yay!) and will show everyone as soon as I can.
