The great debate of black & blue – are they better off living separate lives or can a match be made? Personally, I find this to be an opinionated discussion and I vote in favor of the marriage between the two colors. Where someone might see the blend as a reference to a “bruise” per say, I view the pairing to bring out the best of each shade.

With both colors located near one another in the scale of light to dark you can easily balance them out with the incorporation of white – the ever reliable neutral that ties the bond in most outfit scenarios. Suddenly what appeared too negative is now evenly distributed throughout the entire outfit. Funny how a little color compromise can settle such situations. Shop similar below:
