To Be [Moment]: Instagrams I’m Loving

Processed with VSCOcam with a9 preset

I get SO MUCH inspiration from the people I follow on Instagram, and what makes me tap the button to turn green starts with the quality of the photos and the theme of an Instagram feed as a whole. These digital portfolios provide me with a blend of realistic and aspirational images that as a blogger I find crucial to study and learn more about. There’s an art behind developing the right kind of feed that triggers someone to follow, with the goal in mind to attract people whom share similar tastes and interests.

What draws my eye to someones Instagram is a clean or simplistic theme with an obvious focus, in both the images themselves and within the captions written. Of course I follow some of the big dogs, the insta-famous bloggers known by most in this industry. But I’d honestly rather come across someone new and on the rise, genuinely loving what they’re doing and not posting for the sake of Instagramming. Today I want to share these fab Instagrammers profiles because I think they’re the tits. If minimalism with a twist inspires you, then you’ll love these peeps as well! Click their images to directly access their feeds :]

@SPREADFASHION

Ellenorkim of @spreadfashion has one of the coolest LA styles I’ve come across on Instagram, not to mention a knack for awesome background pairing with each outfit she posts.

@MASSMUSINGS

Okay maybe I’m biased because Kayte of @massmusings is my first blogging bestie but her free spirit and love of life is captured in some of the most stunning shots, which keep me coming back to check her feed.

@CUPPAJYO

I met Jyo of @cuppajyo at a RewardStyle event during NYFW a few years ago and her style alone instantly told me we’d have a lot in common, which was confirmed upon following her feed and still finding myself “liking” every picture she posts.

@FORAGEFASHION

Heather of @foragefashion has some of the coolest backgrounds and poses, and it’s the simplicity behind her style that I’m really digging. I found her blog through her weekly link up – Friday Finds

@HOWDOYOUWEARTHAT

Maybe it’s the NJ & NYC residency we share that drew me in, but Cait of @howdoyouwearthat definitely knows what she’s doing when it comes to blending casual & structured pieces.

@CHRISTINALAU_

Another NJ/NYC babe I happened to meet during Lucky Magazine’s NYFW event a few years back – Christina of @christinalau_ captures the simplicity of style in the busiest of cities, which is both inspiring and a true form of talent.

@THATGIRLGICK

Of all the fashion bloggers I follow, there’s no one that makes me want to travel more than Thida of @thatgirlgick. Plus her style dips into the daring side and the risk is enticing to try out for myself once and a while.

@ALICIATENISE

Alicia of @aliciatenise makes me want to try the boldest colors out for myself time and time again, probably due to her attention to structured pairing of minimalist/neutral accessories. She also has me needing to visit Washington DC more with her posts showcasing awesome places to experience.

@WOAHSTYLEDOTCOM

Toronto-based Nathalie of @woahstyledotcom has a style very similar to my own, which made following her feed an easy decision to make. We even share a love for interior design which you can get a glimpse of with some of her amazing bedroom decor posts.

@LITTLEMAISUNSHINE

Mai of @littlemaisunshine obviously got my attention as another NJ/NYC lady, but her beautiful attention to detail when it comes to her flat lay pics is off the chain.
