To Be [Moment]: Silver Layers

Chokers of all sorts have always grabbed my attention; but more recently, my focus is on the layered versions that take the simplistic style to a statement-making level. When most of your wardrobe consists of the neutral colors – primarily black and white – having a necklace that speaks for itself once and while can step a monochromatic look up to a head-turning acknowledgement.

With so many styles of women’s necklaces to base your outfit around, I find a choker helps to achieve that edgy vibe you’re trying to feel for a night out or when you want to change your everyday look without getting too dramatic with your clothing pieces themselves. A choker is a simple addition that can make a world of a difference, in fantastic ways mind you. The trick is to finding one that not everyone has, which is why I’ve come to rely on the Spanish jewelry brand UNOde50 for a fresh spin on metal pieces to wear year-round.

This dual-layer silver piece is my favorite of all the statement-making chokers I own, which means if I want to continue sporting this look I’ll need to enhance my neckwear game – at least by adding a few more to my “personal party of one collection.” I’ve fallen in love with so many collar hugging metals available on UNOde50 including a necklace super similar to mine shown above – and definitely think this might be my hidden source of choker bliss – stepping away from my mainstream/go-to shops and involving a brand that’s fresh and new to my online retail therapy needs.

I am in love with this piece. I have always layered my jewelry since HS but in a more “punk” way. This is like a nice grown up version of that. Thumbs up!!
