Tomorrow marks the most wonderful, stressful, crazy & chaotic time of the year in NYC – Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.  As Nigel said in Devil Wears Prada, “…GIRD YOUR LOINS.”

I’m only kidding – Fashion Week is so much fun and entirely worth overthinking and overdoing yourself for. The only reason we stress ourselves out is because we want to attempt to be present every place we can. Until we perfect the art of teleportation, let the race against the clock from uptown to downtown resume.

We’ve been blessed with temperatures that make our faces turn blue this month, so thinking about warmer temperatures and the trends-to-be is a nice mental break from the frigidness. With this look, I’m not-so-secretly displaying what I intend to take with me into the new season: high-low maxi tops, leather below the waist, metallic details and gold chokers.

Obviously these pants will take a well deserved break and be substituted with a skirt option when the time comes. I’m stoked to get even more inspiration this entire week and hopefully receive confirmation that my sick and stereotypical craving for florals in spring isn’t a fashion faux pas. Shop similar below:
