I try to post X amount of things with each birthday to commemorate this once-in-a-lifetime age experience, with the goal of looking back at them as a sort of time capsule meets flashback. What I’m finding to be important to share this year at 31 might mean diddly-squat in the upcoming years as I get older, but I know I’ll love seeing the shift in priorities and appreciate the journey.

I’ve put together two easy looks featuring biker shorts – outside of the gym environment – that I find myself wearing some version of most often. But like anything that hugs the body, it can be difficult to find the perfect pair that 1) hits in all the right places (i.e. above the belly button), 2) stays in place (doesn’t ride up or down), and most importantly 3) covers the camel. IYKYK. Out of the many pairs of biker shorts I’ve worn/tried, I’m only linking to the ones I’ve personally found to be wonderful garments that meet the three criteria points mentioned above.
