Here’s what’s new this Monday: Wearing the color yellow before Spring officially begins, a bold lip and a solid hair color for the first time in nine months. New season = new changes to both my personal style and my personal appearance, as well as a newfound sense of internal power. Sometimes you just need a fresh start at any given moment.

This checked coat is not only in my favorite print, ever but also light enough for continued wear during those chilly days kicking off the season which last about two-three weeks. Rather than the overdone tights under the dress that I’m so mentally (and physically) done with, I opted for an over-the-knee boot that gives off the same effect by filling the void – as well as hiding my pale legs that need a spray tan ASAP.
