IMG_6830IMG_6868IMG_6770IMG_6846IMG_6853IMG_6855IMG_6884Details: (g) Rebecca Minkoff jacket  Miss Selfridge bag – similar  (g) Top Knot extensions

Notice something rather different!? Like the new season, I needed a breath of fresh air in the hair department and said sayonara to the sombre – for now – while adding 18″ to my long lob. I’ve decided that I’m going against the grain this year by opting for darker in the spring/summer and back to light come fall/winter. The road less travelled seems to be the right move to make for myself, as well as an exciting path to follow.

Attention is turning to music festivals and bohemian vibes and the challenge is to incorporate such excitement without overwhelming the general ensemble. I figure with certain statement pieces, like a fringe leather jacket, over a solid color and nothing else says everything you need to know about my personality. For example,  I’m the type of girl that would sport a flower crown  over the weekend yet come Monday, in the office with my corporate A-game on fleek. In short, free spirited with an edge but not overdone. Shop similar below:

So as we’ve noticed up top, I’ve become a part-time mermaid – yes, these are clip-in extensions and probably the most beautiful creation I’ve ever been able to place on my head. The last time my hair sported a length like this was freshman year of college and to have the ability to reminisce in real time is more than exciting – I’ll be able to fishtail braid again!

These Top Knot Halo Extensions slip over the crown of your head and are secured by snapable clips. What I did was pull my real hair into a half up do to secure the extensions underneath a layer, remove the tie and have my hair fall over the extension and hiding any appearance of it. The best part: you can style by straightening, curling and even washing as if it were your real mane!

The quality of these extensions is beyond amazing. You seriously couldn’t get a better lengthy look unless you paid top TOP dollar to get permanent ones glued to your scalp. This the TopKnot Halo extension, I can add or remove as I please and not have to worry one moment about my indecisive opinion when it comes to my hair.

So to celebrate the joys of temporary long hair that can fool anyone to appear real, I’ve teamed up with Top Knot Extensions to offer both a discount and a giveaway for you guys to receive a pair of extensions matched perfectly to your current color! For those of you that would rather buy right away, use the discount code tildenTKlove at checkout to receive 10% off your purchase! If you believe in luck like myself, enter the giveaway via RaffleCopter below – You have nothing to lose and a whole lot of lengthy hair to gain!

The winner will be selected and contacted via email Friday, March 20! Best of luck!

I have vacillated over extensions for 2 years now and still haven’t tried them…this would be a great opportunity. I’d have to curl them for them to fit into my hair!! I’d be so excited to try them!! Jodie

I would have to long layer my hair with the extensions. I’ve tried them long ago and loved them. Would love to go for this look again. Thanks for the chance!

I would style my extensions by doing large loose curls (slightly teased). I just love the messy curl look. This outfit is amazing and I love the fringe jacket!

I would style my extensions by wearing them with my hair down in loose beachhead waves or in a full fishtail braid. They look amazing on you! Xo
