It’s important to take those moments for yourself and isolate your mind from the chaos of reality. Whenever I’m seeking such an escape, I go to a spot where I can overlook the river I’ve grown up by. Lucky for me my late grandfather’s house has just the view to get lost with, just for a little while.
On the topic of comfort and calm, I try to keep the outfits I wear to reflect such a feeling when it’s current. For me, a pair of jeans with an oversized layer on top is the perfect reflection of cozy structure. Naturally, you can expect a pair of slip-on sneakers to make an appearance.
