One of my favorite things to do is transition my summer pieces into wearable ensembles during this brief moment of seasonally warm weather. There’s only a small window of opportunity to get one last use out of those summer favorites; or sometimes, one last chance to wear it once during the year at all!

In this case, I didn’t get a chance to wear this romper yet and desperately wanted to before the temps stick at 68 and below. Since the print is on the darker side, pulling a laced crochet blouse (another final hurrah piece) to match up with it made for a nice and balanced look perfect for September.

I might still carry this romper into Fall if I pair up strategically with a black sweater and tights with booties – still a thought in progress/development. Stay tuned 😀
