It’s officially December and the holiday parties are soon to be a weekly thing. If you work a 9-5, office holiday parties most likely occur during those hours – who wouldn’t want an excuse to drink champagne while on the job? However, dressing for the spirit of the occasion has its obvious limitations (i.e. no short minis or anything borderline embarrassing to be caught wearing at the office.) So here’s what I would show up in if I were to party at work.

Keeping warmth in mind, a holiday-inspired sweater was my top choice but I didn’t want it to appear too obvious in theme. Silver & blue tones remind me of snow and winter and in a pattern like this, I find it very festive. Jeans keep it casual, especially if its an every day norm to wear at the office but throwing on a pair of studded heels glams it up in a subtle way. To complete the look, I’ve accessorized with a white neckerchief – which I made! – and a red handbag to sport the holiday pop of color we’re all expecting to a degree. Shop similar below:
