It’s officially football season and the amount of FOMO I have over not being back in South Carolina for this time of year is serious, y’all. Thankfully NYC can satisfy my gameday needs with a self-proclaimed Gamecock bar known as The Mason Jar but it’s still not the same as breathing the SEC air in Williams Brice Stadium. So until I can find a weekend to escape the city and relive those college years, here’s my post-graduate tailgate ensemble for all my fellow alums (and possibly current students) can take some inspo from – that is the goal of blogging, of course..

According to the calendar fall has arrived for real and though South Carolina remains warm through basically December, I can’t say it’s the same for up here in the concrete jungle. Right now is absolutely stunning – cool mornings and evenings with comfortable temps during the day for the most part. That being said, finding the right outfit that works for this time in New York, represents the Gamecocks and keeps the dressed-up reputation of a Southern-style tailgate can only be answered with one piece – the jumpsuit.

The lightweight fabric of this particular onsie regulates my internal temperature both inside and outside the game’s viewing location, and makes for a white sneaker addition to be the most comfortable choice I could’ve decided on. Three-ish hours on your feet with repetitive jumping isn’t ideal for heels ladies, unless you’re a warrior in stilettos. If so, I applaud your talent.

Now if you find yourself at a tailgate and needing that perfect addition to your gameday fan apparel, think about the tumbler you can represent both your beverage of choice and your support with.
