It’s the day where I can finally take a nap after class to catch up on the countless hours that I unwillingly donated to journalism 328 this week. It is also known by many professional places as ‘casual friday,’ which is this post’s topic of discussion, well a variation of it.
Two items: an Aztec scarf (Target) & blue sneaks (Vans) – thank you Bren ツ
– An aztec scarf can go a long way for an outfit that has a solid & rather bland appearance, like a white v-neck tee. Add the scarf, and the outfit instantly becomes visually stimulating to the eye with the pop of color and variety of pattern appeal. If you strive for color, incorporate a solid color-of-choice- tee that is also seen in the scarf. When the weather begins to heat up, add a pattern scarf to those casual tank tops & add a denim vest into the mix.
– No other brand of shoe I know offers a variety of colors and patterns for the casual skater sneaker that everyone can pull off, even the much older crowd. I saw what had to be a 60+ year old man who rocked a pair of black classic vans who was clearly not once a ‘skater boy.’ These shoes are so comfortable and trendy, and perfect for all season wear.
