It’s all in the details with today’s look, ranging from the obvious, to the subtle and discrete. Starting from the ground up, these amazing beaded sandals definitely make a statement but even more so in the mission behind them. For every pair purchased, funds go towards the Maasai Project – benefitting the women of the Maasai tribe and their ability to earn their own paychecks for the first time in their lives – by hand-beading these shoes. In turn, many families can now afford school and purchase necessities such as clothing, medicine and food that was once too far out of reach.

As we move on up you can notice the slight change in texture of my dress – silky chiffon to lace on the trim. What I love most about this dress is the lightweight feel of it which makes it ideal for spring/summer, especially with the lacey detail. And as for my beaded bangle? Let’s just say it’s gives my entire look a little kick of personality. Inside the charm is a scented bead that smells like absolute heaven.
