Two trends I’ve noticed a lot for this season are slit hem denim & scrunchies with built-in bows. I figured I’d experiment with this style of jeans, but never imagined pulling my hair back with an 80s accessory in 2019. Just look at me now – I caved willingly.
Out of all the pairs of jeans I own, this style draws attention to any shoe (from flat to sneaker to ankle strap heel) worn with them in all the right ways. This pair worn is the perfect dark wash shade & fits super well in the booty.
As for the ribbon bow scrunchie, I think the reason I’ve become such a fan is due to the fact my hair is getting too long to wear down all the time. Now when I pull it back, I can accessorize it with a ribbon to match or enhance my ensemble.
I didn’t even know slit hem denim was a thing, I mean, I’ve seen stuff similar to it but even that was rare. And I really like it, it does bring attention to the shoes and I think it might even make us look taller. And I love the scrunchie trend, it looks so fun and feminine.

I just bought a bow scrunchie. I’m excited to use it, although I just chopped my hair so short haha. Maybe in bun formation, I can still put it to use. I love the colors on yours though!
