What I’m Binge-Watching on Netflix

Cozy Holiday Living Room Decor, Christmas Decor, Holiday Pillows, Snow Leopard Throw Blanket, Tilden of To Be Bright

When I moved into my new apartment, I was introduced to the money-draining, limited channel cable provider known as Verizon Fios. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I miss having Spectrum in my former apartment, despite the terrible connection issues I frequently had. At least my TV allowed me to watch every channel + HBO…

Seeing that adding ANY of my 5 favorite channels to my Fios plan would cost me $30/each per month, I started heavily relying on my Netflix membership to wind down & enjoy at the end of each work day. Since April, I’ve binge-watched A LOT of existing TV series & Netflix Original Series.

Personally, I’m someone who likes to laugh at stupid humor, so a majority of the shows I watched are similar in genre. However, there’s a few others that I came across that strongly peaked my interest & led me to another binge-watching all-nighter.

Here’s what I’ve watched so far, as well as a list of the shows you guys recommended when I asked for new series suggestions on IG:

Watch this behind-the-scenes clip I found while amidst my obsession of re-watching all 10 seasons 3x in a row…

Grace & Frankie

Type: Netflix Original Series

As everything around the ladies is coming apart, the only thing they can really rely on is each other. This Netflix original re-teams Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin (“9 to 5”) as Grace and Frankie, respectively, bringing their chemistry to the small screen. It’s a casting reunion on a grand scale, as Tomlin is reunited with her co-star from “The West Wing,” Martin Sheen, who plays Grace’s husband, Robert. And Fonda is back with Sam Waterston, her co-star from “The Newsroom,” who plays Frankie’s husband, Sol.

Then there’s Greg, the young, ambitious but uptight executive producer, and Justin, the laid-back video editor and voice of reason for this oddball crew. Together, they may be a little dysfunctional, but that won’t stop them from doing what they do best: breaking the news. Ps, this series is co-produced by Tina Fey!

Leslie’s colleague Tom Haverford, who delights in exploiting his position for personal gain, is as likely to undermine her efforts as to help her, while her boss, Ron Swanson, is adamantly opposed to government in any form, even though he’s a bureaucrat himself.
